"We are born at a given moment, in a given place, and like vintage years of wine, we have the qualities of the year and the season of which we are born. Astrology does not lay claim to anything more." - Carl Gustav Jung

Harvest Moon in Pisces

We are having a Full Moon in dreamlike Pisces overnight tonight. It's the Harvest Moon because it is the closest Full Moon to the Autumnal Equinox, which takes place on the 23rd. Adding to the movie-like feel of this Moon, is it's close conjunction with Neptune, ruler of Pisces.  Intuition and going with the flow are the highlights of this Lunar phase.

With Mars, Venus and Mercury surrounding the Sun in Virgo, the Moon is challenged to find some balance between being assertive, how to keep a relationship harmonious and introducing thoughts to feelings.  Trusting your intuition about what course of action to take, is paramount here. However, if you're someone who needs to have things all figured out, you may be in for a rough ride.

Another consideration is ebullient Jupiter in enthusiastic Sagittarius squaring both the Sun and Moon. This can go any number of ways... lots of fun with possible regrets at not paying attention to the little things that matter, or... inspired insights on how to move forward with your dreams. Remember that Jupiter is also squaring Neptune, building up to be exact in one week. Things can get very cloudy as situations escalate, so don't take risks. Perhaps divine intervention will bring you blessings and something to celebrate.

On the other hand, Neptune is making wonderful aspects to responsible Saturn and the Nodes of the Moon and that can increase the likelihood of a positive outcome. If you have exhibited self-discipline and taken measured steps toward your goals, this Harvest Moon could shine a light on the rewards. Kindness and compassion still win out in the long run.

While navigating the foggy road toward your desired outcome, remember to keep your head in the stars and your feet firmly on the ground!
