Sunday's Full Moon occurs at 28 degrees of Libra, meaning it is opposed to the Sun at 28 Aries. We still have a lot of planets in the first sign of the zodiac, emphasizing the spark of new beginnings and pushing the entrepreneurial or aggressive button for many individuals. This Full Moon emphasizes and illuminates the already strong Arian energy of having five planets, the Sun (life-force and strength), Mercury (communication and thoughts), Mars (action and aggression), Jupiter (exuberance and exaggeration) and Uranus (extremes and sudden change) in this fiery, action-oriented sign of the zodiac.
What is the function of the Full Moon? To illuminate what falls opposite it. As a prelude of things to come tomorrow, the Moon opposed Uranus early this morning and will oppose Mars tonight at 9:09 p.m. - where do things feel outside your control and who is pushing your buttons? The out-of-the-box energy is in full swing today and continues after midnight as Luna opposes Mercury - filter the thoughts before they become words popping out of your mouth, then later in the morning, the Moon opposite Jupiter highlights every possible exaggeration that needs to be dealt with... leading up to and announcing... ta da... the Moon opposite Sun at 10:44p.m.tomorrow night !!
One way to look at this, if you have a chart rife with Aries/Libra energy or Cancer/Capricorn triggers, is to be aware of the vigilance necessary to protect and take care of yourself, especially where it involves significant others in your life. If you aren't feeling the direct hits because your natal chart isn't being activated by any of these planetary transits, you may feel like you are walking through a minefield of possible explosions from those around you who are feeling them more personally.
Some people are having bigger wake-up calls than others and we need to allow them the space to deal with their changes in ways that support forward movement and growth, as opposed to slipping backwards! This is true for either side of the coin - maybe your lesson is movement, maybe it's maintaining balance and not jumping in to be helpful... many of the Neptune in Libra generation are caregivers and like to help fix others... I know this from personal experience. We have to avoid putting the focus on "others" and bring it back around to where we need to focus on taking care of ourselves! What do you need to do for yourself...? That is the question you need to consider as you fall asleep tonight and awaken to possible insight in the morning.
The Sabian Symbol, for this Full Moon at 28 degrees of Libra, according to Dane Rudhyar, is A Man Becoming Aware Of Spiritual Forces Surrounding And Assisting Him. Ask for divine guidance in whatever way you know how and believe that there are angels and spiritual guides on the other side of the veil just waiting to help you. Do not be tempted to give up all your energy or responsibilities to these forces of Light, instead be open to the wisdom of their guidance and take the necessary action in order to improve your situation.
Remember to keep your head in the stars and your feet on the ground!
Great observation Suzanne especially in regards to the care giving aspects of the generation.
ReplyDeleteIt's always about how our movements and decisions affect others (family, friends, co-workers etc) and not how it applies to our own personal growth ad well being. How we feel personally is often neglected or construed as selfishness.
I may not always comment I but I am an avid follower of your blog. Thanks for taking the time to observe and share your knowledge!
