The Full Moon in Sagittarius opposes the Sun in Gemini tonight at 5:14pm EST. While still in Scorpio, earlier today, Luna opposed Venus in Taurus, the Earth sign she rules. This brought up a dilemna between pleasing yourself and pleasing others. If you found a way to steer clear of overly needy people and/or your own selfish inclinations, then you'll probably do alright with this evening's lunar conjunction to Mars in Sag as well. More on that later, after we look at the Full Moon!
The highlight of this Full Moon is the big changeover from passionate and creative Scorpio to idealistic and restless Sagittarius. Getting out of our emotions and into the world is always the benchmark of this passage. We build on our deep feelings while the Moon is in Scorpio, then as it moves into the fiery sign of the Archer, we want to use that momentum to feed our inspiration.
Remember that the Moon is now at the midpoint of her journey since the New Moon in Taurus on May 6th. We started out slowly looking at our needs while Mercury was also retrograde and while you may have experienced some frustration over not getting too far, things are about to shift. Mercury is going Direct again tomorrow and will hopefully help you to reassert your values and the direction you want to move in regarding yourself and others.
Where do you want to go from here and what path do you want to take? Sagittarius asks you to be adventurous and trusting. Look at the big picture and your higher purpose on the planet and remember that you've been asked to get out of your comfort zone and consider the needs of others in your life. As the Moon aligns with Mars at 6:43 pm, barely an hour and a half after it's Full, try not to be too impulsive so that you don't begin a journey to somewhere you don't want to go! It's a fine night for socializing if you remember not to overdo, over promise or have higher expectations than what others can provide you with.
Look to the future, have hope and don't jump ship! In the meantime, remember to keep your head in the stars and your feet on the ground!
