"We are born at a given moment, in a given place, and like vintage years of wine, we have the qualities of the year and the season of which we are born. Astrology does not lay claim to anything more." - Carl Gustav Jung

Winter's Way...

A word or two about my "time" (Saturn) and blogging lately... I have been busy with a new job, car in the garage and walking to work this past week, so it's been difficult to get a couple of uninterrupted hours to write. Also, I have not had a complete day off when I wasn't ill, in over three weeks... Please bear with me and realize that my entries may be shorter than usual, but hopefully filled with enough information for you to use!

We finish the weekend and begin the work week under a Capricorn Moon, good for business and career pursuits. As we are on the down-side of a Moon cycle, this is the time to follow through and make necessary adjustments to projects already begun. Look at conserving your resources and working with what you have right now, not initiating any new plans or arrangements until next weekend.

On Tuesday,  March 1st, Venus, the planet of love and beauty, self-worth and values, moves into Aquarius, the zodiac sign of friendship, innovation and groups, where she will remain until nearly the end of the month. Be aware that while Venus is intently personal and self-concerned, when she travels through the more emotionally aloof Aquarian territory, her values become more closely aligned with the best interests of others. Those others may be friends, committee members or new aquaintainces, making personal concerns have less importance than what's in the best interest of all involved. Aligning one's thoughts and mental energies with others of like-mind while looking for new solutions is the most efficient way of using this energy.

That's it for now my friends... but I'll be back later to write more about what else is happening in the cosmos that will affect us here below the rest of this week.

As always, remember to keep your head in the stars and your feet on the ground!
